Cinnamon Development Officer Vacancies 2026 Open Exam
The Cinnamon Development Department, operating under the
Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation, has officially invited
applications for the Open Competitive Examination for the Recruitment of
Cinnamon Development Officers (Grade III) – 2026. Eligible and qualified
candidates who meet the prescribed educational and age requirements are
encouraged to apply for this opportunity to join the government service.

Educational Qualifications
Applicants must possess a four-year Honours Degree
obtained from a recognized local or foreign university. The degree should be in
one of the following disciplines or an equivalent field accepted by the
relevant authorities:
- Agriculture
- Biological Sciences / Life Sciences
- Applied Biological Sciences
- Agribusiness Management
- Green Technology
- Export Agriculture
- Plantation Management
Only candidates who possess the above qualifications from
recognized universities will be eligible to apply for the examination.
Age Requirement
Applicants must be between 21 and 35 years of age on
the closing date for applications. Candidates who do not satisfy the prescribed
age limit as of the application closing date will not be considered eligible
for recruitment.

கல்வித் தகைமை
விண்ணப்பதாரர்கள் அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்ட உள்நாட்டு அல்லது வெளிநாட்டு பல்கலைக்கழகம் ஒன்றில் இருந்து கீழ்க்காணும் துறைகளில் ஏதேனும் ஒன்றில் நான்கு ஆண்டு கௌரவப் பட்டப்படிப்பை (Honours Degree) பெற்றிருக்க வேண்டும்.

மேற்கூறப்பட்ட துறைகளில் அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்ட பல்கலைக்கழகத்திலிருந்து நான்கு ஆண்டு கௌரவப் பட்டப்படிப்பைப் பெற்றுள்ள விண்ணப்பதாரர்கள் மட்டுமே இப்போட்டிப் பரீட்சைக்கு விண்ணப்பிக்கத் தகுதியுடையவர்களாக இருப்பார்கள்.
வயது எல்லை
விண்ணப்பங்கள் நிறைவடையும் இறுதித் தேதியின்படி விண்ணப்பதாரர்கள் 21 வயதிற்கு குறையாமலும் 35 வயதிற்கு மேற்படாமலும் இருக்க வேண்டும். நிர்ணயிக்கப்பட்ட வயது வரம்பை பூர்த்தி செய்யாத விண்ணப்பதாரர்களின் விண்ணப்பங்கள் பரிசீலனைக்கு எடுத்துக்கொள்ளப்படமாட்டாது.
விவசாயம் மற்றும் அதனுடன் தொடர்புடைய துறைகளில் பட்டம் பெற்றவர்களுக்கு அரச சேவையில் இணைந்து கறுவா அபிவிருத்தித் திணைக்களத்தில் தொழில்முறை வாழ்க்கையை ஆரம்பிப்பதற்கும், இலங்கையின் கறுவா தொழில்துறையின் வளர்ச்சிக்கும் பங்களிப்பதற்கும் இது ஒரு சிறந்த அரச வேலைவாய்ப்பாகும்.
